This mug commemorates the closing of the Royal Naval Hospital. It depicts a scene from the front entrance which was taken from an original painting which i finished in 2007. Although the hospital opened in 1904 it was not until 1963 that it became known as the Royal Naval Hospital hence the reason for the date on the mug. For those of you who were fortunate enough to attend the closing ball you would have received one of these mugs, however for anyone else they are still available to purchase.
