Biography

Chris Perry was born in Brentwood in Essex in 1963 and now lives in England. For as long as he can remember he was always drawing something or someone. Chris has never received any formal art training past his O-Level but was inspired by his Father who "was always painting". Chris started painting and exhibiting in 1981, in his local area of Essex. Moving around with his job in the RAF he was able to exhibit with a range of galleries in the south of England and abroad. He initially started working in oils producing mainly landscapes and then dabbled with ink and pastels for his seascapes and old galleons. He currently works in a watercolour / pen & ink style and his main subject is military art.
